En plein Air Painting of Accidental ArtistEarlier in 2012, Georgia & Paul Johnson commissioned Lisa Bisbee to paint their building in downtown New Bern, NC. Each and every Monday morning, Lisa setup her easel on the sidewalk of Craven Street to capture the creative outlet for the citizens of New Bern. Folks walked in and out the turquoise door of the Accidental Artist building trying their hand at painting pottery. The Accidental Artist is a thriving business in New Bern. The owners, Joan & Mike Ziemba expanded their business with another location in Greenville. Painting on the streets of New Bern is so rewarding! People wave as they drive by. Sometimes they park their car to visit and chat. Neighboring store-owners check over the stages of painting. Over time in the last few months, it was awesome meeting new and old friends as the downtown activities are hustling and bustling by. Sketching with paint, filling grooved textures & photoshopping the commercial graphics.
