The Swiss Bear DDC benefits New Bern in so many ways. I am proud to announce my new design for the Swiss Bear's annual event, Mumfest! The Swiss Bear commitee requested something classy that relates to mumfest's newest attraction (the SeaFair art filled mega yacht); and they also wanted a design that exudes fun and festivity with an explosion of color.
"Mumfest in New Bern is all about the kids and I wanted the flower and font to reflect the joy and awe of children participating in such a fun-filled event. As an artist, the first thing I did was grab my paintbrush to start the stroke of colored petals with bold primary colors adding secondary colors to the background shadows," explains Lisa Bisbee.
Bisbee shares, "This year, Mumfest will have a new attraction with art on a sea vessel. Inspiring young people to create is one of my goals. I hope all children will see the art on the yacht and become inspired to create new treasures and memories. "
